The Bothy
This cottage is a listed traditional stone and harl building, with a small garden and car parking area. The ground floor has an open plan entrance, kitchen and spiral stair, with doors into the lounge and bathroom. The bathroom has bath, toilet and hand basin with shaver point.
There is a good-sized lounge with TV & video player. It has a beamed ceiling and large window looking out over Ben Lawers. The double sofa converts into a bed. Spiral stairs lead up to a landing, where a single chair bed is situated and can be moved to suit, there is a door to the bedroom, which has a double and single bed, it has a low coomb ceiling, and care must be taken. A cot and high chair can be provided. Hot water is by immersion heater. Heating is electric using storage heaters and electric fires. An electric hot air wall heater heats the bathroom.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave, Water is supplied from a private source. Crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and bed linen for six persons are provided. Towels are not supplied but may be hired providing notice is given at the time of booking. Entry is 3pm Saturday or by arrangement.
Being a working farm pets may only be brought by prior arrangement.
